Pricing

How pricing works

There is no price list. A finish depends on the count, the system and the prep, so we write a number from your schedule.

  • What decides the price

The count and size of doors and drawer fronts, what they are made of, and the system on top.

    • Doors, drawer fronts and panels, by size

    • Raw, primed or an existing finish to remove

    • System, sheen and number of coats

    • Color depth

    • Shop or on-site work

  • What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't

The proposal lists prep, coats, boards, racking and delivery by line.

    • Includes: prep by surface, coats, one board set, rack, wrap and label

    • Not included: hardware, carpentry or door repair beyond fill and sand

    • Not included: a further board round

  • What happens at the visit

We look at conditions on site: whether boxes can come out, how doors are numbered, who holds the keys.

    • Measure and photograph

    • Agree what stays and what leaves

    • The proposal says whether a visit fee applies and whether it is credited

  • How and when you pay

A deposit holds the shop slot and the balance follows delivery or the install walk-through.

    • The schedule is written in the proposal

    • Trade accounts can ask about their terms

  • If the job changes

A new color or added doors is written as a change before we spray it.

    • Changes are agreed in writing first

    • A damaged door is reported before we price a fix

  • When you get the number

Before work starts, in writing, from your finish schedule and counts.

    • A number given by phone is an estimate only

    • The written proposal is the price

Every figure arrives in the written proposal, before any door is sprayed.
